Two answers, one automatic source
Every tracker counts hours. Atend also captures what you got done, from the same signals, at the same time.
A number on its own says how long. It doesn't say what came of it. Atend keeps both: the accurate hours you worked, and a short, honest record of the work itself. That's the pair no timer-and-stopwatch app can give you, because they were only ever watching the clock.
How it works
It captures the signals, automatically
A lightweight agent reads what's happening on your machine: input, what's in focus, whether an AI agent or a build is running. Metadata only: it records that you worked, never the content of your work.
It reconstructs both your hours and your output
Your day resolves into accurate hours, including the time you spend attending a running agent, and alongside them a short record of what you actually got done. Two things, from one automatic source.
Ready to use, on your say-so
Nothing becomes an invoice until you build and issue it, so you can change any entry first. Approve a day, or a whole month at once, then export a clean timesheet or invoice; your recap becomes a plain answer to “what did I get done”, for a client, a standup, or just yourself.
Recap
Know what you got done, not just how long it took.
As you work, Atend keeps a running record of what actually got done, as short bullet points. Not essays, not screenshots: the kind of line you'd write yourself, if you remembered to.
You stay in control: every point is yours to edit, keep private, or approve. What you approve is the answer to “what did I get done this week”, ready for a client update, a standup, or your own record.

Accurate because it reads the day in three states
Most trackers know only “active” and “idle,” so a quiet keyboard reads as nothing happening. Atend adds a third state for the time you spend attending a running agent, and it never calls silence “away” unless you truly were. That's what makes the hours right.
Engaged
typing, prompting, reviewing, thinking, hands on the work
Attending
an agent or a build is running and you're on the hook for it
Away
nothing running, you've stepped out, honestly off the clock
A real day, straight from Atend.
Real screens from the product. The day reconstructed into its three states, and the invoice it turns into.

For teams
Real hours, and real credit, for the whole team.
When work happens through AI, it gets hard to see who did what. Atend gives everyone the same honest picture: the hours each person actually worked, and the things they actually got done. Not to watch people, but to make sure the quiet, real work finally shows up. Metadata only, always.

Your attending hours add up.
Drag to your reality. This is the attending time, waiting on an agent, heads-down with no keystrokes, counted accurately at your rate over a working month.
Worth counting, per month
$3,780
That's $45,360 a year of attending time, at 2.0 h/day and $90/h, across ~21 working days a month, counted accurately.

Atend reads the shape of your work, never its content.
It records what it takes to rebuild your day: idle or active, the app in focus, whether an agent was running. Metadata, never the content of your work. No keystroke logs, no screenshots. That's what makes it trustworthy, on your own or across a team: the hours are accurate, and the recap is only ever what you approve.
Why we built Atend
We're a small studio that works alongside AI agents all day. As more of the work moved through them, two things got harder to hold onto: how long we'd actually worked, and what we'd actually gotten done.
We were tired of the mechanics too: starting and stopping timers, forgetting to track, and never quite being able to answer “where did the week go?”
So we built the tool we wanted for ourselves: automatic, metadata only, nothing to start or stop, and it remembers both the hours and the work. Atend is what we use every day. We hope it makes your own work easier to see.
