Team questions
- Can a manager see what employees are typing or which sites they visit?
- No. Atend captures metadata only: whether someone was active or idle, the app in focus, and whether an AI agent was running. There are no keystroke logs and no screenshots, so there is nothing of that kind to show. Team views report durations, project totals, and the recap each person has approved, never the content of anyone's work.
- What does the manager see about what got done?
- Only the recap each person approves: short bullet points of completed work, grouped by project. Draft points and anything marked private are never shared. It's the same answer a teammate would give in a stand-up, just already written down, and tied to real hours.
- How does Atend give a fair view without surveillance?
- Each member runs the same lightweight agent that reconstructs their day into Engaged, Attending, and Away, and keeps a running recap they curate. The manager sees totals, project breakdowns, and approved recaps; each member sees their own detail first.
